When replacing your indicator lights with LED replacement lamps you will note that the lights flash too fast.
This is because the LED lamp has such low resistance that the standard flasher unit thinks that it is a fused globe.
To fix the problem you need to replace your flasher unit with a LED flasher unit.
There are mainly 3 types used on various vehicles, CF13, CF14 and the 8 pin flasher unit.
You will have to remove your vehicle's flasher unit in order to see which one you need to buy.
Most vehicles take either a CF13 or CF14 and the 8 pin is used on late model Toyotas and Lexus.
This unit, CF13, has the positive pin on the left and negative pin on the right.
The only difference between the CF13 and CF14 is the position of the + and - pins.
